What is Lavvi?

Lavvi is a free, community-powered public toilet finder for India. At lavvi.in, you can explore a washroom map, check listed entry fees and accessibility details, and read photos and reports contributed by the community.

Built by Vansh Jain, Lavvi focuses on helping people find their next washroom stop. You can browse without an account; sign in to contribute. Conditions can change, so check the latest reports before visiting.

Never hold it in again.

Finding a clean, safe washroom in India shouldn't be a luxury—it is a fundamental public necessity and basic human right. Every day, delivery partners hold it in for hours, women avoid drinking water during commutes, and travelers face anxiety over sanitation.

Lavvi was created to eliminate this anxiety. We are India's first community-powered sanitation and safety network, driven by everyday citizens who verify, review, and map out accessible washrooms across 28 states and 8 Union Territories.

3D Interactive Map

No more guessing games. Lavvi uses a strict color-coded pin system with live vector clusters: Green pins are highly verified and clean, Amber pins require fresh community confirmation, and Pink pins are dedicated female-friendly washrooms.

Tap any marker to see real hygiene indicators (working latch, soap availability, running water) and walking distance estimates before you even walk in.

Saheli Mode™ for Women's Safety

Engineered strictly for women's safety and peace of mind. Flip the Saheli switch on the map, and our algorithm instantly filters out isolated or unsafe spots, showing you only well-lit, attendant-present washrooms, CISF-guarded metro concourses, and exclusive Pink Toilets.
